Abdij Onze Lieve Vrouw van Baudelo

The Abbey of Our Lady of Baudeloo traces back to a Cistercian community that grew into the leading abbey of the Waasland region in the Middle Ages. After the monks were driven from their original site, the abbey found a new home in Ghent, where its former refuge house with stately interiors can still be visited today.
