Abdij van Epinlieu

The Abbey of Our Lady of Epinlieu was a Cistercian community in the county of Hainaut, active from 1216 to 1795. It was first based in Ghlin near Mons before moving to the centre of Mons, a layered history that makes it an intriguing trace of the region's monastic past.
