Bûtenfjild

The Bûtenfjild is a 319-hectare nature reserve in Friesland, lying between the villages of Giekerk and Veenwouden, north of Hardegarijp. Managed by It Fryske Gea, it consists of open meadows and marshy sections that feel especially spacious and tranquil at first or last light.
