C-Mine Genk (Winterslag)

Former coal mine on the Evence Coppéelaan in Genk. Part of the buildings and installations have been preserved and listed as a monument. The historicist buildings date from 1912–1925; behind them stand two headframes (one from 1916, the oldest in Limburg, and one from 1963, the last ever built in Belgium). The hoisting engine building and the mine's power plant can also be visited.
