John S. Thompsonbrug

The John S. Thompsonbrug spans the river Maas between Grave in North Brabant and Nederasselt in Gelderland. Built between 1927 and 1929 as part of the trunk road linking 's-Hertogenbosch and Nijmegen, it was known simply as the Graafse bridge until 2004. Its long, straight steel structure over the wide river landscape makes a rewarding subject for sunset photography.
