Kasteel Ammersoyen

Ammersoyen Castle in Ammerzoden, Gelderland, was likely completed in the 1350s by the Van Herlaer family. Originally built along a branch of the Maas river, it was left encircled by a moat after the river was rerouted shortly after construction.
