station Alkmaar

Alkmaar railway station, opened in 1865, serves the North Holland town of Alkmaar on the Den Helder–Amsterdam line, roughly 40 km northwest of Amsterdam. As an Intercity stop with a distinctive nineteenth-century Waterstaat-style building, it offers a handsome example of Dutch railway architecture.
