Description

The Den Oever Lighthouse is a 16-metre openwork cast-iron tower built in 1885 to a design by Adrianus Cornelis van Loo. It originally stood on the former island of Wieringen as a leading light on the Wadden Sea before being relocated and eventually deactivated in 2009.
