Kagerplassen

The Kagerplassen are a network of peat lakes northeast of Leiden, spread between Warmond, Oud Ade and Sassenheim. Dotted with small islands and laced with reed-lined channels, the area's windmills and grazing meadows give it a classic Dutch waterland character.
